Kick-Off for research project TUM4HealthTech

Celebrating a motivating Kick-Off for TUM4HealthTech - our new research project which aims to reduce the workload of healthcare experts by integrating innovative technologies and ideas.
In TUM4HealthTech we will analyze which clinical processes can benefit from the integration of assistive technologies and how processes must be adapted to make the application possible. We will then proceed to demonstrate these concepts in a realistic clinical environment.

During the event on December 5th, we were finally able to share the vision of this project with the clinicians and engineers who will directly collaborate to transform the clinical status quo.

Emily Spicker and Sonja Stabenow led the event, which started with an engaging keynote by Prof. Dr. Johannes Fottner and Prof. Dr. med. Dirk Wilhelm, followed by an overview of different focus areas of TUM4HealthTech.
We ended with a fruitful discussion involving clinicians from various departments of Klinikum rechts der Isar, talking about current needs and future goals for the project and beyond.
Thank you to the project team Dr. med. Maximilian Berlet, Sidra RashidSonja StabenowEmily Spicker and Lukas Bernhard for organizing a great Kick-Off and the students Christoph Wetzel, Moritz Weigl, Sabrina Forster and Marie Heimig for their contributions.

This project is only possible because of the financial support of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts.
