In the program "Gesundheit!" of the Bayerischer Rundfunk we were able to present our vision for robotic assistance systems in hospitals. The robot systems on display were developed as part of the research projects AURORA (Siemens Healthineers, Franka Robotics, Evocortex, Technische Universität München) and SASHA-OR (ImFusion GmbH, Baxter International Inc. ) at Klinikum rechts der Isar. Both projects aim to relieve the burden on surgical professionals with the help of robotic support, as an important remedy for the nursing shortage.
