It was a pleasure to present our latest experimental research results at the DCK24 in Leipzig.
Prof. Dr. med. Dirk Wilhelm addressed the future role of robotic applications in a digital healthcare environment. Our research engineers (Lars Wagner, Luca Wegener) and physicians (Alissa Jell, Maximilian Berlet) shared new insights into their research fields. They focused on deploying AI in the operating room, developing input devices for RAS, identifying risk factors for anastomotic insufficiencies post-esophagectomy, and modeling centralization processes for complex surgical procedures.
