BONSEYES

The goal of the project is to give companies of all sizes and developers in Europe the opportunity to implement artificial intelligence systems. In the foreground is the use of these systems in so-called "low power devices" (Smartphone, Smartwatches, Tablets, ...).
This can be explained by the fact that more and more data is being generated, which in cloud based systems leads to long transmission times and high bandwidth requirements. In order to increase efficiency and security, there is a worldwide trend: artificial intelligence systems are increasingly moving away from pure "cloud computing" and try to analyze generated data in a first step on low-power devices ("edge analytics") and finally send processed, sorted out data of a smaller extent into the cloud for further analysis.
In order to meet this trend and to promote the use of artificial intelligence, this project tries to give a jump start. It is planned to develop a platform consisting of a data marketplace, "deep learning toolboxes", computing power and a developer platform.

One of the goals of the MITI research group within the project will be to develop a medical technology demonstrator for "Bonseyes" to demonstrate the capabilities of the new platform.
