After 3 years, we are proud to present the results of our research project AURORA. AURORA is a mobile service robot for the operating room, designed to support the surgical team by performing assistive tasks, such as the provision of sterilely packaged materials. During our final project demo, we were able to convincingly demonstrate the capabilities of our prototype within a highly realistic research OR environment.
