Yesterday the Bavarian Minister of Science, Markus Blume, handed over the funding decision for the research project ForNeRo. The project is sponsored by the Bayerische Forschungsstiftung with 2 million euros and aims to improve the integration of robotic systems into the surgical workflow.
In ForNeRo, the scientists of our research group, joined by an interdisciplinary academic and industrial consortium, will focus on the seamless integration of surgical robotics into the operating room. For more information check out the website: https://fornero.ed.tum.de
