Last week, the DGE-BV e.V. annual congress took place in Berlin, once again providing an excellent platform for researchers, students, and industry to exchange on the latest advances in the fields of endoscopy and imaging methods.
At the CTAC session for Medical AI and Imaging methods, headed by Prof. Dr. med. Dirk Wilhelm and Prof. Wolfram Lamade, Research Group MITI presented two ongoing research efforts of the group. Alexander Geiger spoke about a novel method for the multimodal visualization of esophageal motility, while Dr. med. Maximilian Berlet presented a new concept of continuously documenting medical interventions on a virtual patient model.
