Participants will learn to navigate the editorial process at journals and will understand how papers are editorially assessed and reviewed, as well as how to respond to reviewer comments on their papers. Publishing-related challenges – including conflicts of interest, authorship issues and data deposition – as well as strategies for disseminating published work – including social media and press releases – are also addressed from the perspective of research journals.
